Team India coach Rahul Dravid has stated that while he is happy with the side’s win over New Zealand in the three-match T20I series at home, he wants the boys to be realistic about the result. Dravid pointed out that it was never going to be easy for New Zealand travelling to India immediately the T20 World Cup 2021 final.

After being named player of the match in the second T20I against New Zealand in Ranchi on Friday, Team India pacer Harshal Patel stated that he couldn’t have asked for a better debut. Patel claimed figures of 2 for 25, dismissing Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips as India restricted the Kiwis to 153 for 6. They then chased down the target in 17.2 overs, with KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma hitting half-centuries.

India will take on New Zealand in the 2nd T20I of the three-match series at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Friday, November 19. The match will take place at 7 PM IST and 1:30 PM GMT. India go in having won the first game in Jaipur by five wickets. Being a three-match series, New Zealand will have to win the second game to stay alive in the series
